High Point is a mid-century neighborhood located along Massachusetts Avenue in Bethesda. While there are a number of more traditional ramblers and new homes built after tear downs, there are a number of mid-century modern style homes. According to local architectural historian Elizabeth Jo Lampl, Kettler properties built a number of homes in the neighborhood using the designs of architects of Patterson and Worland, known for their modern designs. In addition, a number of homes on Osceola Road were inspired by the Frank Lloyd Wright, They were designed by Lawrence Stevens and built by George Nave. This 3 bedroom/3 bath house with large open kitchen (albeit updated) is now listed for $799K, down from $849K.
