1963 ‘Clubview’ in Carderock Springs – $769K; Open 2/3

This listing is for what looks to be a very well-maintained 1963 Cubview model in Carderock Springs, the mid-centruy modern community in Bethesda built by Edmund Bennett and designed by Keyes, Lethbridge, and Condon. The nearly 2,000 sq. ft. split-level contemporary has four bedrooms and three baths and sits on more than a third of an acre. See images here or view in person on Sunday, Feb. 3, from 1 to 4 p.m.

Just an FYI, this house is already under contract.

Went to the open last Sunday.. it didn’t have that “treehouse” feel that many of the other models in Carderock have, but it was a very nice floorplan for it’s size. Also, it had the original kitchen cabinet, which my husband and I loved. Most of the updates we’ve seen in this neighborhood don’t do justice to this home’s mid-century moder roots. They either go country kitchen or have those bad 80’s updates.
