This late 1960s contemporary in Wessynton in Mount Vernon, Virginia, was designed by Deigert and Yerkes, one of the top teams of modern architects in D.C. during the MCM era. This Forest model features nice walls of glass and a large brick fireplace that separates the living and dining rooms. The house is unique in that the kitchen (except for appliances) and the baths (see below) are original to the house. No granite and stainless steel appliances here. The house sits on more than a third of an acre, which includes professionally designed landscaped gardens. See the listing for additional images.
