I went to see this 4/2.5 Charles Goodman home on this past Sunday. The 1960 Silver Spring home was originally priced at $699K; it has now been dropped to to $649K after being “renovated.” The home has a nice wall of windows looking out to the very private backyard surrounded by tons of mature trees. I also like the large windows surrounding the front door as well. While the house is listed as a four bedroom, one of the “bedrooms” is on the lower level on a raised platform in the den area. The area is not closed off from the rest of the den and has a Japanese-inspired feel. Another downside is that there is no master suite on the top floor. Definitely a cool house in a nice spot, but still would need work. The home is located here in Rock Creek Woods, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
