Open Houses and New Homes on the Market
Here are a few open houses for this Sunday and some new homes that have just been listed for the fall market. I am holding my listing in Havre de Grace open from 1-3 on Sunday. It is a custom, vintage home designed by Poldi Hirsch, AIA, for her own family in 1969. This 1965 mid-century modern home in the Hollinridge neighborhood in Potomac (which was planned by Charles Goodman) was redone during the past few years and now back on the market for $1.125 million. It is open Sunday 2-4 pm. This modern house on Bradley Boulevard in Bethesda replaced a more modest mid-century home. Listed at $2.275 million, it is open 2-5 pm on Sunday. If you don’t want to spend that much, take a look at this mid-century ranch just listed in Lorton. It has wood ceilings and clerestory windows for $474,900. If you are looking in DC, this front-gabled 1962 home in Shepherd Park looks interesting at $849,900.
