Price Drop: 1954 Close-to-Original Goodman in Hollin Hills – $499K

If first posted this 3/1.5 Charles Goodman home in Hollin Hills back in October when it was at $549K. It’s now just under $500K. Except for the kitchen, which the agent says was updated a number of years ago, the house preserves Goodman’s original 1954 design. (When I first saw the photos, I thought the yellow kitchen cabinets could have been original.) The one-level, slab-on-grade Unit 2 house (Goodman’s most basic model) is close to 1,400 sq. ft. and sits on more than half an acre.

” the kitchen, which the agent says was updated a number of years ago”.

I’ll say it was a number of years ago! The cabinets look exactly like the 1968 Geneva steel cabinets that are in my mid century place. And I can’t think that the marbled formica counters arrived too much later than the early 70s…
