Two New Holmes Run Acres Listings
Here are two new listings in Holmes Run Acres in Falls Church. The community was first developed in 1950 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The more than 350 homes, which were modeled after contemporary California ranch-style homes of the time, were constructed by three builders: the Luria brothers, Gaddy Construction Company and Andre Bodor.
1953 4/3 – $549K – The listing says it was expanded and rebuilt, but provides only one exterior image.
1958 4/2 – $545K – The 2,400 sq. ft. home has nice wood-beamed ceilings and tongue-in-groove Philippine Mahogany walls. Kitchen and bathroom pictured need work as usual.
