Warren Cox Modern Masterpiece in Potomac – $3.195 Million
Before founding the distinguished firm of Hartman-Cox Architects in 1965 with George Hartman, Warren Cox, FAIA, worked as a designer for Keyes, Lethbridge and Condon, the local mid-century modern architectural firm know for the homes in neighborhoods such as Carderock Springs. While Hartman-Cox has become known for its major projects such as museums, libraries, academic and government buildings, the firm designed homes in the area during its early years. Here is one in Potomac designed by Cox in 1974. It is a large, modern home inspired by the modernist masters. Listed at $3.195 million, the home is 8,000 square feet with 6 bedrooms, 6 bathroom and 3 half baths. It also has a pool and pool house on the 1.9 acre lot. Check out the images below.
